Mini lights!
I've wanted electricity in my house for a long time, but it's so pricey! Then, while working on my phantom project, I worked on a much cheaper way (instructions in the September '09 issue of American Miniaturist). So, when I found electrical lights at a mini flea market for 75 cents each, I bought the whole lot! I'm now slowly starting to install them. The problem is that each light is attached to a massive battery pack. More on that to come. Here's the first room with the light fully installed and a pic of the bathroom's light that's in the works. What do you think?

Do you have wallpaper on your walls already? I just installed electricity in my dollhouse recently with tape wire and it's a much cleaner look, though it's probably a pain/not worth it if you already have wallpaper on the walls.
ReplyDeleteI also really like the lights! They look really authentic!
